About a place that feels like Heaven!
Come to Sturgis
S. Rubin / S. Rubin / S. Duhart
As I leave from L.A.
A desert points my way
To the place I am going
Once on the I-15
My problems just don’t seem
To be quite as heavy
In a northeasterly line
Wyoming passes by
As I move down the highway
Thirteen Hundred miles to Sturgis
Slowly the desert emerges
Peeking out over my faring
Heaven is calling to me
I-80 comes along
Bout the time the sun is gone
But I just keep on riding
To Rawlins and beyond
I’m northbound to a town
Just outside of I-90
Seven hundred miles to Sturgis
Slowly a feeling emerges
Peeking out over my
Heaven is calling to me
From I-90 I head west
South Dakota comes up next
As I rumble towards Spearfish
The final thirty miles
I think of all my trials
And tribulations
And as I pull into Sturgis
Slowly a feeling emerges
I’ve been to temples and churches
Heaven is calling to me
Come to Sturgis
Come to Sturgis
Bring your bike and a friend
